Description: One of metal’s most influential guitar players. He created (or certainly revolutionized) a new style of picking called ‘Sweep Picking’ in which a series of notes could be played with one down or up sweep of a pick. His style blends great speedy, classic metal with solos that to some may seem endless but are filled with great musicianship. Yngwie’s band members have always varied along the years but he always seems to bring along a group of accomplished musicians.
