Kim Mitchell

Origin: Sarnia, Ontario, Canada

Genre: Hard Rock

Description: One of my favorite Canadians artists. Although he isn’t easily definable as "metal" his excellent guitar playing and progressive music (espeically with his 70s) warrant his inclusion on this site. Kim was originally in progressive shock rockers Max Webster in the 70s. After that in the early 80s he went onto his own solo career and had a hit with the song "Go For Soda", which was later adopted by M.A.D.D. as an anti drinking song and Kim’s career took off. After 20 years he’s still going strong. Kim recently signed on as the afternoon DJ for Toronto's Rock Station, Q-107.
