About The House Of Metal
The House of Metal was started by Brandon in early 2003 mainly as a reference encyclopedia for all my favorite bands. I have been a Metal head ever since I first put on Metallica's Kill 'Em All album. Since then I've collected over 500 CD's and read a few books on Heavy Metal. I also play guitar and play in a Metal band.
Some of my favorite bands are KISS, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Skid Row, Bon Jovi, Sword, Kim Mitchell, old Queensr˙che, Hair of the Dog, Titanic and Gemini.
For a band to get featured a few things must happen. Firstly, I must have heard the band. Secondly I must like at least 3 songs from that band (with the exception of Lovefist for obvious reasons). Please note: I do not like Black Metal, Death Metal, or Nu Metal. I am not a huge fan of Melodic Rock or Progressive Metal or Thrash Metal (except for a few bands). The type of bands I feature here are mostly Classic Metal, Power Metal, N.W.O.B.H.M., or Hard Rock. If you would like to recommend a band or album to me please click on contact at the side.
